Barry Kripke is Sheldon's nemesis, and is always giving Cooper the business. In this game, you get back at him, by mocking his speech impediment in a group setting.
Recite your favorite quotes from The Big Bang Theory, and there is only one rule: all "R" sounds have to be pronounced with a "W" sound, a la Kripke. Go around the room, and if any player uses an "R" sound in their quote, they drink. Enjoy the game! Now, can it, Kwipke!
One Grasshopper, and Raj turns into a smooth-talking ladies man. Add this liquid mingling tool to your next party, and release the Grasshopper. All you will need, is:
3/4 oz. cream 3/4 oz. white Creme de Cacao 3/4 oz. green Creme de Menthe
Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Need martini glasses for serving proper Grasshoppers?
Smarten up the party with these awesome Big Bang Theory pint glasses. A genius idea. Sheldon agrees, although he won't admit that you thought of it first.
"I would like a virgin Cuba Libre, please." "Isn't that just a coke?" "Yes. And please make it diet."
Enjoy Sheldon's favorite bar-drink, a virgin Cuba Libre. That's rum and cola, without the rum! Serve your favorite cola on ice, with a lime wedge, and see if your party guests get the joke.
Activity: Rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock
Rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock is a game frequently mentioned on The Big Bang Theory, and it's a ton of fun. Played just like the age-old classic, Rock-Paper-Scissors, the modified rules of this game are simple:
Scissors cut paper, Paper covers rock, Rock crushes lizard, Lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes scissors, Scissors decapitate lizard, Lizard eats paper, Paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes rock, and as it always has, Rock crushes scissors
EXTRA RULE: Like salsa with tartar sauce, this extra rule will make this game more zingy:
To maximize your fun-potential, be a good sport, and have the appropriate teams wear the "Sheldon mask" and "Penny wig" from our Costumes section of this page, representing their assigned teams. This will make the game more fun, and also add some serious opportunities for hilarious quote-drops. Challenge extended!
It's Laundry Night, and since you pissed Penny off, she is using all of the washing machines at once. Time to race her for the rights to the laundry room, for good!
All you will need are a couple of these cool clothes-folding boards, Sheldon's go-to method for perfect folding, EVERY time. Set up a couple stations, and grab some t-shirts (maybe you use a few from the "It' Casual Friday" collection) - it's time to fold!
Break the group up into two teams, and have a relay race! One team will represent "Team Sheldon," while the other team will be "Team Penny."
The race is on! One person folds for each team, and then passes the board to the next once they finish. If you are awesome, and are using the mask and wig, players must also pass these to the next player, as well. Whichever group finishes folding the stack of t-shirts first, wins!
Only have one folding board? No problem! Use a stop-watch, and time everyone throughout the night, rewarding the fastest fold with the grand prize: their own folding board. Enjoy Laundry Night!
Sheldon typically has his Tuesday night burger at Big Boy, but the Cheesecake Factory's burger seems to have "a much more satisfying meat to bun to condiment ratio."
Tonight is burger night at your party, and we have made it easy to prepare a copycat of the burger that Sheldon (and Leonard, at least once) enjoys so much. Just remember to serve his burger with the bacon, BBQ sauce, and cheese on the side. It's easy: There is a little bit of prep to this recipe. First, cook up some of your favorite smoked bacon (or soy bacon). Also, we will need a few onion rings for this burger. Oven-baked store-bought rings will do the trick, but if you want to go crazy, check below for a recipe to make home-made onion rings. Finally, combine your choice of sweet BBQ sauce with an equal part ranch dressing in a separate bowl, and set it aside. Now, time to get your burgers ready.
Combine 2 tbsp. of worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp. black pepper, and 1/2 tsp. garlic powder or crushed garlic in a small bowl. Next, rub the patties on both sides with the mixture (feel free to substitute veggie burgers, it will work great). You're ready to grill!
Throw your burgers on the grill, and cook them up. When the burgers are just about done, spoon a bit of your BBQ sauce/ranch mix onto the patties, and top with cheddar (and/or jack) cheese . Melt the cheese, and that's it! All that is left, is to build the burger! Use a large sesame seed bun, and spread both sides with your BBQ sauce and ranch mixture. Toss on some shredded lettuce, followed by your patty. Top it with your bacon, and an onion ring or two, and you have yourself a burger that even Sheldon will eat. On Tuesday, or any other day.
"Moonpie" isn't just the nickname that Sheldon's Meemaw gave him when he was younger. They are also insanely delicious treats that will surely sweeten up your party.
The whole gang is here, and good news: they couldn't leave if they tried! Spruce up your party's decor with a high-quality cardboard cutout of the cast. Stands 72" tall (the size of a perfect homunculus).
Decorations: "That's my spot" Drink Coasters (set of 8)
These drink coasters will serve two purposes. They protect your furniture from damage, and remind everyone of the most important aspect of the party: That's Sheldon's spot.
"Thank you, Penny Blossoms. These will be perfect to cover my bald spot." -- Mrs. Fiona Fondell, Huntsville, Alabama Real-life Penny Blossoms, without having to learn the words to those darn sea shanties. Tricky lyricists, those sailors. These would make great gifts or game prizes.
At your party, Any Night Is Vintage Game Night (Chinese food optional)
Who cares if it's Friday or not. At your party, it's Vintage Game Night.
Even if you choose to skip the Chinese food (and low-sodium soy sauce from the market), Vintage Game night with the Retron 3 will entertain your guests to no end.
Play your favorite vintage NES, SNES, and Sega games, all on one affordable console.
The above costume will look zazzy, but feel free to use other colors of pants and under shirt, combined with one of these other t-shirts that Sheldon has in his meticulously arranged closet.
